These Collared Bug Steelhead Jigs are made with:

Marabou and Krystal flash in the tail

Estaz wrapped up the hook shank for the bodies

Palmered Schlappen feather near the jig head for the collar.

1/8oz & 1/4oz jigs are tied on a 1/0 Owner hook or a 1/0 Matzuo Sickle hook.

1/16oz jigs are tied on a #2 Mustad Ultrapoint hook.

Custom colors and sizes are available upon request.

V. Marabou

Marabou is a great all around material used for many styles of salmon and steelhead jigs. This material is strung together at the base of the feather and comes in 1/4oz packages. Available in 11 different colors.

X. Tying Thread

Danville’s Flat Waxed 210 Denier tying thread. This material is strong enough to tie salmon and steelhead jigs. It has just enough stretch that allows it to bind on itself when pulling it tight.
